Docker Desktop/Docker

Application that allows to package all the required libraries, dependencies and others components necessary for the code to run in an isolated container reducing the amount of conflict caused by the different environment of the computer of each developer.

Currently, only the backend and the database have their own container. The database itself is linked to a docker volume to not loose information contained in it when all the docker containers are closed.

GitHub

Platform allowing us to more easily share, manage, create, edit and store code and other files needed for our project. Also used for the management of all tasks linked to this project.

Languages

Python

The main language used in the backend for its vast amount of libraries including AI ones, good readability and simple syntax.

React

The main language used in the frontend for our team experience with this language as well as it's big community.

SQL

The main language used for our database.

Framework

FastAPI

Python framework to build APIs. Necessary as the frontend and backend are modeled on the client-server model.
