Release list
Carafe 0.2.2
The save fix and the bitness choice listed in v0.2.1 did not make it into that build. They arrive here, along with sound in more games and builds you can cancel.
New
- Choose bitness by hand. The launch step of the build wizard has an Advanced block where you can switch from Auto to 32 or 64 bit when a game starts in the wrong mode.
Fixed
- Saves and settings survive a restart. Games that keep a save or settings file open the whole session now keep their progress, and closing a game from the HOME menu saves what it wrote last. Before, such games lost everything since the start of the session. Rebuild games made with v0.2.1 or earlier to get the fix.
- Sound in games that play below 48 kHz. Such games now have sound. Before, they stayed silent from the start. (#14) Rebuild games made with v0.2.1 or earlier to get the fix.
- One build at a time, and you can cancel it. Its progress and result show in a banner on the library screen, and the banner takes you back to the build's screen. Before, a build could start twice and mix up its stages, and nothing could stop it.
- The build wizard waits for the folder and the cover. It shows a loader while they load, and the cover is downloaded only once.

Carafe 0.2.1
Correction: the two changes below were listed here by mistake and did not make it into this build. Both arrive in v0.2.2. Otherwise this release is the same as v0.2.0.

Carafe 0.2.0
Carafe now updates itself and helps you bring older games up to date.
New
- Updates inside Carafe. Carafe checks GitHub for a new version twice a day, downloads it in the background and installs it when you choose: right away or when you close Carafe. It never restarts during a build or a USB install. Choose Automatic, Notify only or Off in Settings → About Carafe.
- Rebuild outdated games. When a new Carafe brings runtime fixes, the library offers to rebuild the games made with the older runtime. They are rebuilt one by one with the same settings, Title ID and icon, so installing over the old ones keeps your saves.
- One installer for every language. Each PC gets a single installer with English and Russian. It installs Carafe for your Windows account and needs no administrator rights, now or for later updates.
Installing
If you have Carafe 0.1, the installer removes it first: confirm removing the old version and allow the administrator prompt once. Your settings and library stay. Updates after this one arrive inside Carafe.
The installer is not signed yet, so Windows may warn about an unknown publisher. Choose More info → Run anyway to continue.

Carafe 0.1.1
A bug-fix release.
Fixed
- Mouse cursor on the stick. In the "Keyboard and mouse" mode, the stick bound to cursor movement now moves the cursor. Before, the cursor moved only by touch. Rebuild games made with 0.1.0 to get the fix. (#4)

- Only Windows for now; macOS and Linux may come later.
