Formatting SD Cards

The PC Cartridge System is compatible with standard SD card filesystems such as FAT32 and exFAT. The system supports standard SD, SDHC, and SDXC microSD cards. The microSD cards can be formatted to your required filesystem before or after being inserted into a PCart.

Method 1:

1. Insert your microSD card into a microSD card reader.
2. Plug the reader into your PC and format the card as needed.
3. Insert the formatted microSD card into a PCart and assemble the shell around the PCB.

Method 2:

1. Insert an unformatted microSD card into a PCart and assemble the shell around the PCB.
2. Insert the PCart into a PCart reader.
3. Plug the reader into a PC via USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable and format the card as needed.
