Compatibility

The PC Cartridge System is known to be compatible with Windows 10 and Linux. It should also be compatible with macOS and Windows 11 as it uses a widely supported driverless USB-to-SDIO chip, but has not been tested.

Thanks to the Genesys GL823K chip, the system supports UHS-I Class 10 microSD cards, including SD, SDHC (up to 32GB), and SDXC (up to 2TB). PCart readers operate at a maximum USB 2.0 (480Mbps transfer speeds). A USB-C to USB-A cable is required.
