Features
Adopted the shared catninth-updater Rust library for stable release checks, GitHub release notes, signed downloads, and installation.
Added recurring update checks every six hours after the initial startup check.
Moved update state and installation control into the native backend. The interface now follows native progress and installation events.
Fixes
Prevented overlapping update actions and stale asynchronous responses from overwriting newer update state.
Preserved single-instance lock cleanup before restarting or handing off to the Windows installer.
Added signed DEB and RPM update entries alongside AppImage, selecting the package type already installed on Linux.
Updated the release source to the canonical catninth/gitcat repository.
Reliability
Added native updater and frontend lifecycle regression tests, including event ordering, concurrent actions, and listener cleanup.
Added frontend tests and production builds to continuous integration.
