Added line-level staging in the diff view: a changed line can be staged, unstaged or discarded from a gutter button on hover or from its context menu, which also offers Copy.
Added interface zoom from 80% to 300%, set from the status bar, the new Appearance section in preferences, or Ctrl+= / Ctrl+- / Ctrl+0. The choice is saved with the settings and the default is now 110%.
Added a branch switcher to the toolbar breadcrumb: the branch name opens a searchable list of local branches, and picking one checks it out.
Added a direct GitHub sign-in action after access failures, opening the authorization page and showing the device code without a trip through settings. Existing credentials remain available until the new sign-in completes.
Improvements
Text throughout the interface is larger, closer to GitKraken's proportions; branch counters, ahead/behind counts and pull-request badges in the reference sidebar are easier to read.
The diff header shows the change icon before the file name, and the line-number column header is gone.
Folder rows in the file tree highlight on hover, drop the folder icon, and keep their change counts right after the folder name.
Edit actions and modified-file markers use a solid pencil icon.
The GitHub access dialog now closes automatically after a successful sign-in with the required permissions.
Fixes
Fixed broken refs in foreign namespaces (outside branches, remotes, tags and stashes) failing the commit graph: history now walks only the ref namespaces it displays.
Fixed the same broken refs failing fetch and pull by hiding them from Git's connectivity check.
Fixed HTTP 403 and repository permission denials being reported as an unreachable remote. These errors now explain the access denial and offer to sign in to GitHub again when the failed command targeted GitHub.com; HTTP 401 failures use the existing authentication recovery path.
Fixed push authentication and recovery using the fetch host when a remote has a different push URL.
Fixed reauthorization hiding the device code behind the existing account card, and prevented duplicate sign-in requests while a code is being requested.
