SwitchWaker v1.0.1
SwitchWaker runs The Wind Waker (GameCube) natively on a Switch with custom firmware: the decompiled game, on Aurora. No emulation. You need your own disc of the game.
Version 1.0.1 is a hotfix for 1.0.0.
Fixed
- Freezing a Mothula with an Ice Arrow crashed the game, and then every start crashed while preparing shaders (#39). The frozen Mothula needs a shader the game could not build. It was saved to the shader cache before the build, so every start built it again and crashed, also after reinstalling. The frozen Mothula now draws as on the GameCube, and a cache that already holds that shader works again: updating is enough, you do not need to delete anything. Also, a new shader is now saved to the cache only once it has been built, so a shader that fails can no longer stop the game from starting. Thanks to UorNegela for the report.

- Updating from 1.0.0: the game offers the update at the title screen (or options menu (Minus) > Sistema). If the game crashes before the title screen (the Mothula crash above), update by hand: copy the zip's
switchfolder over the old one. - Updating from 0.5.0 or older: copy the zip's
switchfolder over the old one. Your disc, saves, settings and the HOME-screen icon stay as they are. - New install: copy the zip's
switchfolder to the root of the SD card and put your disc image (uncompressed.iso) at the path above. Details: INSTALL.md. - One region per SD card: both downloads install
sdmc:/switch/switchwaker/switchwaker.nro.
Known issues
- "Instant text" does not speed up the text of some cutscenes (for example the arrival on Outset Island).
- The disc's videos (the title screen's attract video and the ending video) do not play yet.
- Docked at 60 fps the frame rate can still drop to 30 in heavy scenes.
