GH Tasks v0.5.1

Fixes

  • Clicking a notification now opens the item on GitHub. Tapping a desktop notification opens the underlying issue or pull request in your browser, instead of popping open the GH Tasks window. Straight to the thing you were pinged about.
  • No more stray Dock icon. Clicking a notification could promote GH Tasks from a menu-bar-only app to a Dock-visible one. It now stays in the menu bar where it belongs.
  • Notifications group by repository. Multiple pings from the same repo now collapse into a single expandable stack in Notification Center — with one place to clear them — instead of piling up as separate alerts.

Note on dismissing notifications

Whether a notification shows as a Banner (fades on its own) or an Alert (stays until you dismiss it) is a macOS setting, not something the app controls. If yours stay on screen, switch it under System Settings → Notifications → GH Tasks → Banners.

Install

Download GH.Tasks_universal.dmg (signed + notarized), open it, and drag GH Tasks to Applications. Your sources, token, and settings carry over from any earlier version.
