  • Fix possible out of bounds access.
  • Use libfmt compiled format strings (which will enable compile time format string checks).
  • Throughput optimisations (timestamp formatting).

xtr 3.x should be compatible with 2.x---the version is only increased to 3.x because code containing incorrect format strings will now not compile due to compile time checks being enabled. Previously this would be a runtime error.
