PadMint 0.4.12: HaloPad Xbox edition from your disc, clearer file checks
PadMint 0.4.12 checks the file you choose against the game's recipe before it builds, and supports HaloPad 0.3.8's Xbox-only builds.
HaloPad: Xbox edition from your disc. Choose your Xbox ISO/XISO and PadMint builds HaloPad's Xbox edition alone. It asks only for the Xbox tools: no PC installer, product key, Wine or PC tools. Choosing the original HaloCESetup.exe still builds both editions. HaloPad's install line is now brew install cmake ninja lld llvm sdl3.
Clearer file checks. If you pick a file a recipe doesn't accept, such as Bungie's 1.10 patch instead of the original Halo installer, PadMint says so before building and explains which file it needs. Results from an earlier file choice can no longer overwrite a newer one.
No Mac? PadMint builds HaloPad on Apple silicon Macs. On Windows or Linux it links to HaloPad's guide, where GitHub builds the Xbox edition in your own fork: HaloPad on any computer.
Validation: 319 PadMint tests and all eight cross-platform CI jobs passed, including the packaged player flows on Windows and Linux. A real PadMint build of HaloPad 0.3.8 from an Xbox disc image produced HaloPad 0.3.8 with OpenCE 170. The release packages built on this Mac are byte-identical to the Windows CI packages, and all three passed PadMint's release gate and content audit.
