This release introduces the new cross-platform packaged desktop version of Open Time Tracker.
New

• Native Apple Silicon macOS build with bundled Python 3.14.
• Standalone Windows x64 executable.
• Automatic GitHub Actions builds for both platforms.
• Tagged releases automatically publish compiled Mac and Windows assets.
• App data now stored in the appropriate per-user application data directory instead of the launch folder.
• Existing activities.csv and time_log.csv files are migrated automatically on first run.
• Open Data Folder button for quick access to the CSV data.
• Manage Activities interface for:
  • adding activities;
  • removing activities from the dropdown without deleting historical records;
  • retrospectively renaming activities across historical logs;
  • merging activity names by renaming one to another.
• Automatic timestamped backups before historical activity edits.
• Task summaries can now be filtered by:
  • start date only;
  • end date only;
  • both start and end date;
  • or left unfiltered for all-time totals.
• Summary view now shows total logged hours for the selected period.

• Packaged builds no longer require Python to be installed separately.
  Notes
