Adds three Home Assistant controls:
- Night mode switch: enter or leave night mode now, with actual clock-state readback. The stock sequence takes multiple presses and exiting restores maximum brightness.
- Automatic night mode selector: Off, Scheduled (using saved clock hours), or Dim room. This remains independent of the manual switch.
- Toggle favorite button: add/remove the displayed animation, with confirmation that the favorites list changed.
Update Klydo Clock to v0.1.2 in HACS and restart Home Assistant. Existing configuration and entity IDs are retained; the new entities appear on the clock device.
The automatic selector navigates the stock English menus and can take a minute or more. Start with the clock awake in Feed, with menus closed, and avoid using the remote while it runs. Close menus before using Favorite. Automatic rules can later override a manually selected night state. Configure scheduled hours on the clock itself.
No clock files, databases, APKs or firmware are directly edited, and no helper is installed. Controls use normal remote key events; the stock app saves its own settings. State reads are narrowly filtered, and the favorites list is hashed on-device rather than downloaded.
Validation: 88 automated tests passed; Ruff, Hassfest and HACS validation passed on GitHub. Live checks confirmed night on/off, automatic setting changes and favorite toggling, with initial settings and favorite state restored. Schedule-boundary and ambient-light behavior remain governed by the stock app and need observation on the installation target.
Manual installation: extract the attached ZIP and copy custom_components/klydo_clock into Home Assistant's config/custom_components/, then restart. HACS users can use the normal update flow.
