RooMate is now in beta! This macOS app helps AFS students track classes, assignments, and tasks. Download the beta version, explore the features, and report any bugs or suggestions in the Issues section

Download Instructions

  1. Click the Download button below to get the RooMate.dmg file.
  2. Once the download is complete, double-click the .dmg to open it.
  3. You’ll see a window with RooMate.app and the Applications folder.
  4. Drag RooMate.app into the Applications folder to install it.

If macOS shows a warning such as:

  • “Unidentified Developer”
  • “macOS could not verify the developer”
  • “App cannot be opened”

Option 1: If the “Open Anyway” button is visible

  • Click Open Anyway.

Option 2: If there is no “Open Anyway” button

  1. Click Done to close the warning.
  2. Open the Apple menu → Settings → Privacy & Security.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click Open Anyway for RooMate.

RooMate should now open. You can also pin it to the Dock for quick access.
