Fixes

  • File sync works when the workspace's starting directory isn't $HOME. Coder Desktop now bundles Mutagen v0.18.5, which installs its agent using an absolute path. File sync previously failed to start when coder_agent.dir or a dev container's workspaceFolder was set to a directory other than $HOME. (#271, #238)

Features

  • Notifications when Coder Connect fails. Coder Desktop now sends a notification with the error message when Coder Connect enters a failed state. Click the notification to open the menu. (#266)
  • Coder User-Agent on all requests. Requests to your Coder deployment, including workspace app icon fetches, now send a coder-desktop/<version> (darwin/<arch>) User-Agent. Deployments behind a WAF or proxy can now match Coder Desktop with the same rule used for other Coder clients. (#264, #268)
