Wake 0.4.0

Installers for every system, built from one bundle:

  • Wake-Setup.exe for Windows (per user, no administrator rights; SmartScreen may warn because it is unsigned)
  • Wake-.dmg for macOS (new and untested: open it, right-click Install Wake, choose Open)
  • wake__all.deb for Debian, Ubuntu and Mint; wake-install.sh for any other Linux or a Mac
  • Wake-Setup.ps1 still works for scripted Windows installs

What is new since 0.3.0:

  • Product coaching: Wake walks a new user through Tally or Timklock hands-on, with practice accounts, demos and checks; packs install from a pack channel
  • Provider health: every provider and its top models are probed ahead of time, timed, and checked for vision; failover hops past dead providers and flaky models within one turn
  • Eight brains: OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, Mistral, Gemini, SambaNova, OpenRouter, NVIDIA, Cohere, Ollama, plus the no-key service
  • Listening: Groq Whisper when a Groq key exists, adaptive voice match, instant acknowledgements while an answer is coming, and the first sentence spoken as soon as it arrives
  • Web workspace (React) alongside the native panel; the expand button offers either
  • Skills, MCP connectors, an orchestrator for small models, email and people memory, projects as folders
  • Fuller wake chime, settings layout fixes, many smaller repairs
