The loader will refuse to start if any is missing. There is no graceful degradation: with two bridges, both targets have to be able to answer.
Through each mod's public item-handling capability — the standard IItemHandler capability
NeoForge exposes. No mixins into any of them, no core mods, no custom protocol.
The practical consequence: the mod depends on those capabilities staying public and stable, rather than on any mod's internals.
A target is reachable when it touches the controller, any storage connected to it, or any linked block such as a Storage Link.
The connected-storage reach is bounded by Sophisticated Storage's own controllerRange. That is the
host mod's setting, not this one — so if targets are not being found, check the controller's range before
suspecting this mod.
- No hoppers or pipes. That is the point.
- No Sophisticated Storage bridge — deliberately. The host mod already deposits into its own chests on that click, so a third bridge would duplicate it.
- No items or blocks added. Nothing in creative, nothing craftable.
- No world data stored.
- No withdrawal. Both bridges move items into a destination.
- It does not replace Sophisticated Storage's deposit, which still runs after the routing.
