Muster 0.3.1
Muster 0.3.1 for Basecamp (linux-x86_64).
Run it: download Muster-0.3.1-Basecamp-0.3.2-linux-x86_64.AppImage, chmod +x it, run it, and click Muster. Basecamp and every module Muster needs are already inside.
Already run Basecamp? Add Muster's catalogue and install from it: docs/runbooks/install-from-catalogue.md.
New since 0.3.0
- Send money to someone in a room, in XMR (the default), ETH or a token, BTC, or LEZ. It's paid at an address they shared, and your proposal is your agreement. They accept, you pay from your own wallet, and their side confirms it. Muster still holds no Monero key and sends nothing.
- The Wallet shows only the wallets this instance was given: the keystore account you chose for Muster, the wallet open in Monero Wallet, and your LEZ wallet. Each one not yet connected gets a "connect" line with its button: create or import an Ethereum account, open Monero Wallet, or install it.
Checked before publishing
- On the release commit: 258/258 module tests, and 11/11 UI tests on logos.dev.
- This AppImage was run with a fresh profile under Xvfb: Muster loads with no QML errors, and Start something opens a room.
- Monero Wallet was installed from the Wallet's own Install button. A stagenet wallet was restored, and Muster's Wallet listed it with its name, network, address and balance.
Muster 0.3.0
Muster 0.3.0: coordinate multi-party transactions inside a conversation on the Logos stack, and see at each step who can see what.
⚠️ Testnet only. Muster is experimental and unaudited. Don't use it with real funds.

What's new since 0.2.2
- A redesigned UI.
- It reads like a chat client: a sidebar with your rooms, a room-details drawer (People, Accounts, History, Privacy), and compact proposal cards whose Details show the rest.
- Status is in words ("Needs you", "Waiting for Bob", "Paid"), with toasts and unread markers.
- What you send shows at once.
- Rooms are named after the people in them.
- Loading is said in words.
- A Getting started list helps on first run, and Settings has Basic and Advanced levels.
- Contact links and QR codes.
muster:contact/…replaces pasting a 128-character chat id, and you can invite someone straight from a room. - One line plus "Why?" Short explanations link to Learn at the right step of the lifecycle.
- Asking to join discloses only your chat identity, never an Ethereum key.
- A decline is final.
- A FROST group's second round runs on its own.
- The split receipt. A split's audit file carries every payment report.
Checks
- The module suite passes, 255/255.
- The UI parity suite passes, 11/11.
- The AppImage ran under Xvfb with a fresh profile: Muster was in the sidebar with nothing to install, every module loaded, and a room opened live.
Previous AppImages (v0.1.0-demo, v0.2.0-demo) can't share a room with this build.
Muster 0.2.2
Muster 0.2.2 for Basecamp (linux-amd64). Install: docs/runbooks/install-from-catalogue.md
- The payment picker highlights the kind you picked, and the amount's unit follows it (sat for Bitcoin, token units for LEZ, wei for EVM). Propose waits until the kind is accepted, so an amount typed in one unit never goes out under another.
- The Bitcoin fee rate has its own labelled line.
- An XMR payment request has Pay with Monero Wallet: it copies the address and opens Basecamp's Monero Wallet to pay from there. Muster still sends nothing.
Muster 0.2.1
Muster 0.2.1 for Basecamp (linux-amd64). Install: docs/runbooks/install-from-catalogue.md
Fixes from a two-person run of 0.2.0:
- Inviting someone admits them: they arrive a member, with no ask to join.
- Leave a room, and join another by its code from Home.
- A room's name (yours, Rename) and its full code with Copy room code.
- The accounts panel shows only what a room needs.
- The account's link waits on the Logos Signer, a separate app. Settings now names it, offers to install it, and offers Ask again when the request expires.
- The composer says when the person named can't get an invite (only a chat id can).
Muster 0.2.0
Muster 0.2.0 for Logos Basecamp 0.3.2, Linux x86_64. It is the first release installable from Muster's own Basecamp catalogue.
Install
- In Basecamp, open Settings → Package Repositories and add
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/corpetty/muster/main/catalog/logos-repo.json - Open Applications, search
muster, and install. Untick Monero Node (local) unless you mean to run your own Monero node. Basecamp resolves every dependency from the official Logos catalogue.
Full steps and known rough edges: docs/runbooks/install-from-catalogue.md.
What's in it
- Request XMR in a room (stagenet).
- The payee's own Monero wallet in Basecamp mints a fresh subaddress.
- Each payer pays from any wallet through a
monero:link or QR code. - The payee's own wallet confirms at 10 confirmations.
- Muster holds no Monero key and never spends.
- The spec
derived-exo-dcc.5grades 7/7. A live stagenet payment end to end is still ahead.
- Splits and payments on Ethereum, Bitcoin and LEZ, multisig families (Safe, Bitcoin PSBT, the LEZ multisig program, FROST), and a card that says what a proposal needs, who can see what, and what you sign.
- Install what's missing from the card, through Basecamp's Package Manager.
- An opt-in mixnet for a room's sends. It hides which participant sent a message, not who reads a room.
- A relaunched founder reads their room again (delivery 0.3.2).
Trust
This catalogue publishes only muster_module and muster_ui; every dependency comes from the official Logos catalogue. Nothing is signed, which is also true of the official catalogue today. Muster runs inside your Basecamp session with no sandbox. Linux x86_64 only.
The v0.1.0-demo and v0.2.0-demo AppImages are older builds and cannot share a room with this one.
Muster demo v0.2.0 — Linux
Public, education-first demo of Muster — coordinating a multi-party transaction inside a conversation on the Logos stack, and showing at each step who can see what. Linux AppImage; no install of the Nix toolchain needed.
⚠️ Testnet / demo only. Not audited, not for real funds or production use. Keys and state are local; the Safe track runs against a local anvil fixture.
What's new since v0.1.0-demo
- Room invitations that actually reach people. "Start something with someone" seals a room invite to their identity inbox — it shows up on their Home with Join / Dismiss, no out-of-band coordination.
- The room keys to whomever you name. Pick a contact and the room admits them automatically when they open the invite — no "ask to join" / "admit" choreography (their binding is still verified, F-9).
- Propose only when the room can act. A proposal waits until enough of the people it takes to agree are present, so it never gets stranded where a later joiner can't read it (F-16).
- Coherent proposals. The proposal kind constrains the options — an ethereum payment settles via Safe; a decision is a group endorsement (threshold / FROST). No nonsense pairings.
- Contact aliases everywhere — the chat log, roster, and join prompts read names, not 64-byte hex. Demo peers come pre-seeded as each other's contacts.
- Counterparty disclosure in-room — ask the room for a recipient address; the other person shares theirs; one click uses it.
- Legible on camera, collapsible/scrollable room history and flow view, tidier settings, ordered activity feed, and numerous stability fixes (keystore errors, render regressions, dispatch crash-safety).

Muster demo v0.1.0 — Linux
Muster — a local-first client for coordinating multi-party transactions inside a conversation, on the Logos stack. The conversation is the security boundary. This is an experimental demo build that walks through the transaction lifecycle and shows how coordination policy changes what leaks (an Ethereum multisig discloses every signer on chain; a threshold/FROST endorsement does not).
Install — Linux x86_64 desktop
Download Muster-demo-linux-x86_64.AppImage, then:
chmod +x Muster-demo-linux-x86_64.AppImage
./Muster-demo-linux-x86_64.AppImageNeeds a Linux desktop with Qt6 / OpenGL. The AppImage is self-contained — no other install required. If your system can't mount FUSE, run it extract-and-run instead:
APPIMAGE_EXTRACT_AND_RUN=1 ./Muster-demo-linux-x86_64.AppImageClick Muster in the launcher to start. For the two-participant Safe + FROST walkthrough, see docs/two-party-demo-runbook.md in the repo.
⚠️ Experimental — testnet only
Muster is experimental, pre-release software for demonstration and education only. It is unaudited and provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and may contain bugs that cause loss of data or funds. Do not use it with real assets or on mainnet — connect only to test networks. Nothing here is financial, investment, or legal advice. By using this software you accept all risk.
