First public release of Pinpoint — a native macOS menu-bar app that captures your screen, drops numbered markers on what matters, and copies a ready-to-paste prompt for your AI agent: an annotated image plus instructions that reference every marker.

Install

  1. Download Pinpoint.dmg below.
  2. Open it and drag Pinpoint into your Applications folder.
  3. Launch it — it lives in your menu bar. Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

On your first capture, macOS asks for Screen Recording permission (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording), then quit and relaunch Pinpoint once.

Requirements

  • macOS 15 or later
  • Apple Silicon & Intel
