Getting started

The first five minutes

  1. Open Settings (icon at the top right). Choose your language (English or German) and enter your race day and goal time. These give your plan's calendar and the goal pace for the tempo sessions. See Settings.
  2. Optionally enter a body part you want to watch, for example your knee. After every run the app then asks how it feels. Leave it empty to turn this off.
  3. Choose your extra sessions (Monday, Tuesday, Friday), for example strength or bouldering.
  4. In the Training tab, log your first run or record it with GPS.
  5. Save a backup regularly, see Backup and data.

Defaults of a new installation

  • Language English.
  • Only strength on Monday; Tuesday and Friday are free.
  • No watched body part.
  • Race day 27 weeks after next Monday, on a Sunday.
  • GPS privacy zone of 300 m around the start, route is saved.
  • The diagnostic log is on. It contains no personal data, see Privacy.

Data from an earlier version (before the language setting existed) opens in English too. Switch to German once under Settings, Language; all entries stay as they are.

How the app is organized

Area Content
Training progress, this week, strength & stability, the whole plan
Habits your own habits, streaks, weekly average
Stats key figures, charts, map of your routes, weekly overview per sport, learnings
Settings language, plan, GPS, diagnostics, records, goals (icon at the top right)

At the top right there is also the Save backup / All saved button. The app saves your entries on the device immediately. The button only shows whether something was added since the last backup.
