@MikeMcC399 Yah, I'm so annoyed by these. Sometimes I put them in Draft just so they're ignored. I think there's likely a better way to accomplish this though.

Yes, it is a bit annoying! In this instance it's not really worth worrying too much about as the major versions don't get updated very often. If it were a regular occurrence and annoyance then it could be blocked by a Renovate config change.

I've submitted the companion doc PR #1673 (comment) in the meantime.
