PatchIt 1.0.2
PatchIt scans the apps on your Android device and shows which of them the
Morphe patch ecosystem can actually
patch — then hands the covering patch sources to Morphe Manager. It never patches
anything itself.
Features
- Scans installed apps — version name and code, split APKs, signing
certificate, install dates, APK size. - Checks compatibility — by
versionCodefirst, version name second. Verdicts
aresupported,experimental,untested,too new,too oldor
no patches, computed per source. - Covers community patches — the official list is 166 patches across 3 apps;
the community index adds 222 bundles, ~4,100 patches and 964 packages. - Works offline — both indexes cached, plus a bundled snapshot so a first
launch with no network still finds 966 packages. - Sets Morphe up — sends the covering repositories to Morphe Manager through
its realadd-sourcedeep link. - Updates itself — checks GitHub Releases on launch and installs newer
versions in-app. - Material You 3 — wallpaper-derived colour, AMOLED black, themed launcher icon.
Changes in 1.0.2
- In-app updates. PatchIt now checks this repo's releases on launch and
offers newer versions from Settings, or from a banner on the app list.
Android still shows its own installer and asks you to confirm — nothing
replaces itself silently. Adds theREQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGESpermission, which
Android requires for the hand-off and which you grant explicitly. - Fixed: the back gesture closed the whole app instead of dismissing an open
sheet. - Fixed: pull-to-dismiss did nothing. A CSS animation was still holding the
sheet'stransform, and animations outrank inline styles, so every drag was
silently discarded. The sheet now animates with a transition and follows your
finger from the handle or the content.
