Shizuku / Accessibility service?

Dear developer
i have confusion on cleaning cache feature on SD Maid SE

when i clear cache sometime i see it's cleaned by using shizuku and accessibility at the same time

i wonder how it's work?
and is that possible app clear inaccessible cache via ADB (Shizuku)?

This is the right behavior. SD Maid always uses different ways to clear caches within the same cleaning run. Normal caches can mostly be cleared via internal functions without ACS, while system apps mostly need the ACS/Shizuku privileged way for inaccessible caches and also for force-stopping a system app.
So basically, ACS is mostly/always needed for the click actions.

you must have enabled ACS and your display turned on & unlocked at the same time, then SD-Maid does exactly this and you need shizuku (shizuku based Fork also beeing working at this time) or a rooted Device. 😉 If the path is right going through ADB, I can't say for sure—it needs the privileged way in common.

ADB does gives direct access to Android/data/<pkg> caches, but not private caches like /data/data/<pkg>. ADB gives an indirect way to delete private and public caches by asking the system to trimCaches (with an amount larger than the device has sapce). The system will then try to free space by deleting all caches. trimCaches skips system apps, so if you have those included, the accessibility service will still be used.

Also: SD Maid has no control over which caches are deleted through ADB+trimCaches, so depending on your exclusions, SD Maid may use the ACS to honor your exclusions.
