Squadra 3+ 3.10.4: proofs keep their temporary files in a short private folder, and Claude and Codex read each other's work.
It builds on 3.10.3. The CLI commands and the registry format do not change.
What changes
- A short private temporary folder for proofs. Proofs, quick checks,
selftestand offline benchmarks keep their temporary files in a short private folder outside the registry. A project kept under a shared folder, such as MAMP'shtdocs, no longer fails on temporary paths that are too long or that others can write. A temporary folder inside the registry is refused before anything runs, including through a link. Cleanup also removes unreadable folders that a test left behind. - Refusals that name the files. A refused read names the files that changed since delivery.
- Two models that check each other. Codex writes and Claude reads, Claude writes and Codex reads. A reader of the task owner's model is refused unless you record why. In the final block, the read that counts for each change is the one by the other model. A release gate also checks this for each task it covers. Workflow
- Advice on splitting your windows. The coordinator tells you how to split your windows between the two models. For example, with 2 Claude windows and 1 Codex window, the Codex window would read everything. A read that is deliberately same-model, with its reason recorded, gets no pairing advice.
- System skills audited again. The Cisco static scan of this release (cisco-ai-skill-scanner 2.2.2, balanced policy, no HIGH or CRITICAL) refreshes the audit records, so the four system skills show as audited again.
- Plugins: memoranda 1.0.8, Playwright 1.0.9, Sentry 0.1.6. The memoranda bridge accepts the 3.10.4 registry reader.
Updating
- In Claude Code run
/plugin marketplace update squadra, then/plugin update squadra@squadra. In Codex runcodex plugin marketplace upgrade, thencodex plugin add squadra@squadra. For a standalone install, rungit pulland the installer with a new backup folder. Then restart the windows. - 3.10.2, 3.10.3 and 3.10.4 windows can share a registry while you update them; nothing is converted. Update the coordinator first: the other-model rule binds the tasks a 3.10.4 window records, and older windows do not check it.
- Before you update, the coordinator saves the squad:
squadra save --actor <coordinator> --to <a new folder>.
