v0.4.0
flashpoint v0.4.0
Ports are declared, not injected. flashpoint no longer sets PORT, FLASHPOINT_API_URL, FLASHPOINT_WEB_URL or FLASHPOINT_WEB_PORT, and no longer adds --port/--strictPort to your dev script. Your app runs exactly as it does without flashpoint, with its own ports and its own Vite proxy config.
Tell flashpoint which ports your app listens on with --api-port / --web-port or api.port / web.port in flashpoint.toml. They default to 8080 and 5173, so most projects need no config. flashpoint uses them only to observe:
- the status bar URLs;
- readiness, which is the port accepting a connection;
- waiting for the API port before a restart;
- the 503 page while no server is up.
If a port never comes up, it says "API not listening on :8080 (check --api-port)".
Upgrading
- If your server read
PORT, or your Vite config readFLASHPOINT_API_URL, give them their own values, then tell flashpoint the ports. api.health,api.host,api.port_env, theFLASHPOINT_API_PORT/FLASHPOINT_WEB_PORTvariables, port0and the{port}/{api_url}placeholders inweb.commandare gone.
Changelog
- 6169e68 feat!: declare the app's ports instead of injecting them
