ProsperoStore 1.000.090 (alpha)
The catalog's mirror is back. Still an alpha version: please report problems.
- Catalog mirror. When prosperostore.net can't be reached, for example on a network that blocks it, the store now falls back to the catalog's mirror at darkxex.github.io. The mirror is trusted only as far as it verifies: its catalog must carry the same signature as the main site's, and a block page or an older catalog is refused.
- Nothing else on that host is trusted. The mirror is one path on a shared host, so only that exact path counts as the official catalog, and addresses that climb out of it are refused.
- Update check. The update-check example for apps listed in the catalog can use the mirror too.
Update from inside the store: it asks when it opens. To install by hand, unzip PPSA99000.zip and replace the PPSA99000 folder. If the console then says it can't start the app (CE-107750-0), see the note under Install in the README.
SHA256SUMS lists the ZIP's SHA-256. This release was built by GitHub Actions from the tag.
ProsperoStore 1.000.080 (alpha)
Categories arrive in the store. Still an alpha version: please report problems.
- Categories. Every app in the catalog is now on one of eleven shelves: Console game ports, PC game ports, Homebrew games, Emulators, Game streaming, Video & TV, Music & audio, AI, Utilities, Tools & tests and Showcases. Discover has a shelf for each, in place of the Apps, Games and Tools shelves.
- Narrow a section to one category. In Apps, Games, Tools and Coming soon, press L2 or R2 to step through the categories that section holds; the title says which one you are in, and a new section starts with all of its apps again.
- The category on each app. An app's page and the featured stage show its category where they showed App, Game or Tool.
- New and updated, kept apart. "New in the catalog" holds the apps listed in the last thirty days. "Recently updated" now means an app published a newer release after it was listed, ordered by that release's date; a correction to a listing no longer makes an app look updated.
- A catalog without categories, such as an older or a custom one, looks as before: its apps stay on the Apps, Games and Tools shelves.
Update from inside the store: it asks when it opens. To install by hand, unzip PPSA99000.zip and replace the PPSA99000 folder. If the console then says it can't start the app (CE-107750-0), see the note under Install in the README.

ProsperoStore 1.000.070 (alpha)
Likes and comments arrive in the store, and app names in other languages are drawn properly. Still an alpha version: please report problems.
- Likes and comments. Every app in the catalog has a discussion on GitHub, the same one its page on homebrew.page shows. The store now shows each app's likes and comments on its tile, and the comments themselves on the app's page. They are refreshed about once an hour.
- Most liked. Discover has a Most liked shelf, and R3 on a grid adds Most liked to the sort orders.
- Like or comment from your phone. On an app's page, press the Touchpad for a QR code that opens the app's discussion; liking and commenting need a GitHub account. R2 jumps to the comments and back, L2 returns to the top.
- A switch for it. Options → Settings → Show likes and comments is on from the first start. Switched off, the store asks GitHub for nothing and shows none of it.
- App names in other languages. A name with an accented letter was shown with a question mark in its place ("R?gie5"). Names, authors, descriptions and release notes are now drawn with accented Latin letters, Greek and Cyrillic. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Hebrew are not covered yet.
- Built on ps5-opengl SDK 1.0.2.
Update from inside the store: it asks when it opens. To install by hand, unzip PPSA99000.zip and replace the PPSA99000 folder. If the console then says it can't start the app (CE-107750-0), see the note under Install in the README.

ProsperoStore 1.000.060 (alpha)
New ways to look around the catalog, and several fixes from your reports. Still an alpha version: please report problems.
- Developer pages. On an app's page, press R3 to see everything else its developer made, with a QR code for their page.
- What's new. Discover now has two shelves, New in the catalog and Recently updated, and Options has a News room with short messages from the catalog's maintainers.
- L1 and R1 go round. From the last section R1 goes to the first, and the same in the Options rooms. Requested by @Dark000Soldier.
- Hold Circle to close. On the home page, hold Circle until the bar fills and the store closes. A tap still does what it did.
- ProsperoEden game files survive an update. Older ProsperoEden versions kept games, keys and firmware inside the app's folder, and an update through the store made the library look empty. They are now moved to
/data/prosperoedenduring the update, including the ones an earlier update left in the store'spreviousfolder. By @JMUtechnologies. - No black screen when the store opens on consoles with VRR switched on.
- Slow networks. A download now waits twenty seconds for a slow server instead of five before giving up.
- Debug log. The switch stays on after the store is closed, also when the store couldn't get full access; switching it on records the console checks at once, so there is no need to reopen the store first. A failed download says where it stopped.
- Lapy helper updated to the version ProsperoEden uses, which is safe when the app closes while access is being granted.
Update from inside the store: it asks when it opens. To install by hand, unzip PPSA99000.zip and replace the PPSA99000 folder. If the console then says it can't start the app (CE-107750-0), see the note under Install in the README.

ProsperoStore 1.000.050 (alpha)
More ways to reach the catalog, and a way to tell us what went wrong. Still an alpha version: please report problems.
- Catalog mirror. When homebrew.page can't be reached (some networks block it), the store loads the same signed catalog from a mirror. Nothing to set up.
- Debug log. A new switch in Settings. Turn it on, reopen the store, repeat the problem, and the store records every step: see the Debug trace in About, or the file
/data/prosperostore/debug-trace.txt. Send that with your report. - ShadowMountPlus settings. A scan path the store couldn't read (a doubled slash, quotes, a missing leading slash) used to switch installing off. Now the store reads what it can, leaves the rest out, and tells you what to check in About.
- Custom catalogs. Settings → Development options has separate Official catalog and Custom catalog switches. With both on, your catalog's apps are added to homebrew.page's; on a shared title ID the official app is the one shown. Signature checking for a custom catalog can be switched off for testing.
Update from inside the store: it asks when it opens. To install by hand, unzip PPSA99000.zip and replace the PPSA99000 folder. If the console then says it can't start the app (CE-107750-0), see the note under Install in the README.

ProsperoStore 1.000.040 (alpha)
Updates no longer delete your files. Still an alpha version: please report problems.
- When the store updates an app, the previous folder is now kept, with anything you had put inside it, in
/data/prosperostore/previous/<TITLE ID>(orprosperostore/previouson the app's drive). It stays until that app's next update. Before, an update replaced the app's folder and files added inside it were lost. - The update message tells you where the previous folder is. Move your files back by FTP if you need them.
- The release ZIP now stores every file as
777, for tools that keep a ZIP's permissions. If the console still says it can't start the app (CE-107750-0) after you copy the folder, see the note under Install in the README.
Tip: keep your own files outside the app's folder when the app allows it.
ProsperoStore 1.000.030 (alpha)
Fixes from user reports. Still an alpha version: please report problems.
- Firmware 13.40 to 13.60: installing works now. The built-in Lapy helper didn't start on these versions.
- Fixed: no catalog after updating from 1.000.000, when ShadowMountPlus 1.7 had run the store without Lapy. The store now takes its own folder back.
- Fixed: "The store's work folder is inside a scanned location" when ShadowMountPlus's
manual.lstheld a stray line such as/.
Thanks to everyone who sent logs.
ProsperoStore 1.000.020 (alpha)
ProsperoStore now tells you about its own updates when it opens. Still an alpha version: please report problems.
- New: update dialog at start-up. When a newer ProsperoStore is listed, the store asks: Update now, What's new or Skip.
- New: What's new. The release notes open in a scrolling view before you update.
- Skip closes the dialog; it comes back the next time the store opens.
From 1.000.010 or older, open ProsperoStore's page in the store and press Update, or replace the PPSA99000 folder with the one from PPSA99000.zip.
