BitChord v1.10
BitChord v1.10 brings the desktop memory improvements to matching Windows, Linux, and Android builds.
- Lower desktop idle memory use through tighter JVM and artwork-cache budgets and Linux native-memory trimming.
- Canvas video frames avoid redundant pixel copies and release older native bitmaps promptly; backdrop and palette snapshots retain their own pixels.
- Linux packages also include a shorter launcher classpath to fix a native launcher crash before Java starts.
- Android version code increases to 28. The universal BitChord Dev APK (
com.dev.bitchord) uses this fork's existing signing key and can update v1.9.0-fork.2 and v1.9.0-fork.3 installations. - Windows installers use package version 1.10.30.
Downloads:
- Linux: AppImage, DEB, and RPM.
- Windows: EXE installer, MSI, and portable ZIP with a bundled Java runtime.
- Android: signed universal
BitChord-android-dev.apk.
On NixOS, run the AppImage through appimage-run.

Validation: all Windows, Linux, and Android release CI jobs passed. APK version and signature match the persistent fork key. The corrected Linux launcher and final AppImage start successfully on Ubuntu 22.04 with software rendering; DEB/RPM launcher configurations were verified. Windows MSI version, bundled runtime, native libraries, and model files were checked. SHA-256 checksums are included in SHA256SUMS.
Built from 93a5d54. The Linux generated launcher configuration was corrected during packaging.
