First major of this fork line. Everything below is a BC break relative to 1.9.1.
Removed the db-connected surface — DbConnectedResource, DbConnectedResourceAbstractFactory, TableGatewayAbstractFactory, the (already commented-out) abstract_factories registrations and the api-tools.db-connected sample config. This drops the direct requirements on laminas/laminas-db and laminas/laminas-hydrator; laminas-db leaves the install tree entirely, laminas-hydrator remains via other requirers.
Removed MongoConnectedListener and the alcaeus/mongo-php-adapter suggest. Not dead code: that shim provides MongoCollection on PHP 8, so the listener was instantiable for anyone who took the suggestion up.
Removed the ServiceManager v2 back-compat shims and migrated off the abandoned container-interop/container-interop to Psr\Container.
Constraints on sibling forks widened to accept their new majors.

Retired phpunit 10 and added a monthly dependabot configuration. Removed the tracked .coveralls.yml.
Doc-comment test metadata moved to attributes. @covers on a test method became a class-level #[CoversClass]: #[CoversMethod] targets classes, and placing it on a method aborts the entire phpunit run.
Development tooling now at phpunit ^11.0 || ^12.0 || ^13.0, psalm ^6.14, laminas-coding-standard ^3.1.
No runtime behaviour changes. The only src/ edits are #[Override] attributes and their imports, so this is a patch release.

Dependency declarations fixed
Six mis-declared production dependencies. Three were in require-dev despite being used by src/; three were not declared at all.

- api-tools siblings moved to their 8.5-capable releases:

Known issues, unchanged here
src/Model/MongoConnectedListener.phptakes aMongoCollectionconstructor parameter and referencesMongoIdandMongoException, all from the legacymongoextension removed in PHP 7. The class cannot be instantiated on any supported PHP — dead code, and a removal candidate. The same pattern exists inapi-tools-mvc-auth.src/Module.phpusesLaminas\View\Model\JsonModel, which laminas-view has deprecated. The same deprecation exists inapi-tools-rpc.
