Supported PHP

~8.2.0 || ~8.3.0 || ~8.4.0 || ~8.5.0 — adds 8.5, drops 8.1.

Dependency declarations fixed

Six mis-declared production dependencies. Three were in require-dev despite being used by src/; three were not declared at all.

laminas-http and laminas-inputfilter were checked and are genuinely test-only, so they stay in require-dev with floors raised.

Other changes

  • api-tools siblings moved to their 8.5-capable releases: api-problem → ^1.10, mvc-auth → ^1.10, rest → ^1.10, rpc → ^1.10.
  • laminas-mvc ^3.0.2 → ^3.8 plus a datasage/laminas-mvc VCS repository entry.
  • Removed an unused import from config/module.config.php. Its only reference is inside a commented-out abstract_factories block, so it had no effect; the newer slevomat standard flags it.
  • vimeo/psalm ^5 → ^6.14; baseline regenerated; one dead InternalMethod suppression removed.
  • Removed 3 no-op setAccessible() calls from test/, deprecated in 8.5.
  • config.platform.php 8.1.99 → 8.2.99.
  • CI: .laminas-ci.json now excludes doc linting instead of ignoring platform requirements; removed release-on-milestone-closed.yml.

No src/ changes.

CI green on 8.2, 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5 across locked, lowest and latest. 36 tests, 60 assertions.

Known issues, unchanged here

  • src/Model/MongoConnectedListener.php takes a MongoCollection constructor parameter and references MongoId and MongoException, all from the legacy mongo extension removed in PHP 7. The class cannot be instantiated on any supported PHP — dead code, and a removal candidate. The same pattern exists in api-tools-mvc-auth.
  • src/Module.php uses Laminas\View\Model\JsonModel, which laminas-view has deprecated. The same deprecation exists in api-tools-rpc.
