Dictations keep their first words, and 嗯哼 keeps its 嗯.

• With Speak Translations to Others on, Orra could stop at launch with the speech model stuck at Loading. The speech, cleanup and voice models could get in each other's way when they ran at the same moment. The voice model now runs on its own, at launch and while a translation is spoken.
• Orra plays its start sound once the microphone delivers sound, so everything you say after the sound is recorded. Before, the sound could come while the microphone was still starting, and the first word or two could be lost, most often in Chinese. After a second without sound, the start sound plays anyway.
• The translation key, and fn or a right Control, Option or Command key that waits to tell a dictation from a shortcut, now records from the moment you press it. A shortcut, a click or a quick release drops that recording without a sound, so shortcuts and the characters Option types keep working. While you type such a character with the translation key, macOS can show its orange microphone indicator for a moment.
• Orra keeps the microphone you chose ready between dictations instead of setting it up again each time. The orange indicator still shows only while Orra records.
• 嗯 stays in 嗯哼, 嗯呢, 嗯哪 and 嗯呐, so “嗯哼，你说得对。” no longer becomes “哼，你说得对。”. A 嗯 that opens a sentence as a filler is still removed.
• Orra's log notes how long the microphone took to start for each dictation, in numbers only. Report a Problem includes it, which helps find slow microphones.

听写开头的字不会再丢，“嗯哼”里的“嗯”也会保留。

• 打开“为对方朗读译文”后，Orra 启动时可能卡住，语音模型一直显示“正在载入…”。原因是语音识别、整理和语音合成三个模型同时运行时可能互相卡住。现在语音合成模型会单独运行，启动时和朗读译文时都一样。
• 麦克风开始传来声音时，Orra 才播放开始提示音，提示音之后说的话都会录下来。以前提示音可能在麦克风还没准备好时就响了，开头的一两个字可能丢失，中文更常见。如果一秒内都没有声音，提示音也会照常播放。
• 翻译键，以及为了区分听写和快捷键而稍等一下的 fn 或右侧 Control、Option、Command 键，现在从按下的那一刻就开始录音。如果其实是快捷键、点按鼠标或很快松开，这段录音会被直接丢弃，不发出声音，所以快捷键和用 Option 打出的字符都照常可用。用翻译键打这类字符时，菜单栏里的橙色麦克风标志可能会闪一下。
• Orra 会让你选的麦克风在两次听写之间保持就绪，不再每次重新设置。橙色麦克风标志仍然只在 Orra 录音时出现。
• “嗯哼”“嗯呢”“嗯哪”“嗯呐”里的“嗯”会保留，“嗯哼，你说得对。”不会再变成“哼，你说得对。”。句首当作语气词的“嗯”仍会删掉。
• Orra 的日志会记下每次听写时麦克风启动用了多久，只有数字。“报告问题”会带上它，方便找出启动慢的麦克风。
