  • Keep REST health and the reconciliation schedule independent of incoming push
reports, including repeated reports and recovery from REST failures.
  • Retry failed OpenMQ credential renewals even while the old connection remains
active, and recover with fresh credentials after unexpected disconnects.
  • Require successful acknowledgement of every subscription before declaring
    cloud push healthy.
  • Add a per-device option to disable cover closing for controllers with an
automatic close timer, with an opening-request button label in this mode.
  • Add a read-only, translated controller-alarm sensor. Retain raw controls as
advanced diagnostic entities and preserve existing entity identifiers and
    enablement preferences.
  • Correct the door travel-time label and translate device entities, alarm
states, and command errors into English and Spanish.
  • Record safe failure categories and connection/renewal outcomes in downloaded
diagnostics; distinguish planned renewals from unexpected disconnects in logs.
  • Exclude only matching command confirmations from REST recovery metrics instead
of skipping unrelated changes in the same poll.
  • Reuse the initial shared inventory, copy only the reported device's datapoints
on push, improve runtime types, and add behavioral regression tests.

Tuya Shared Cloud 1.3.0

  • Adds a dedicated Tuya Shared Cloud service device for integration diagnostics.
  • Shows independent Cloud push and REST polling connectivity.
  • Adds last-message and last-success timestamps, push delivery ratio, and REST correction count.
  • Adds optional detailed counters for push messages, ignored messages, REST runs/failures/duration/interval, and shared devices.
  • Tracks the initial reconciliation and failed REST attempts.
  • Keeps device entities available when REST fails but OpenMQ remains connected and subscribed.
  • Includes English and Spanish translations and expanded standalone tests.

No Home Assistant or add-on source code is modified by this release.

@dbustosrc dbustosrc released this 17 Sep 02:58

1.2.0 — 2026-09-16

  • Correct garage-door control for Tuya category ckmkzq to use the standard
Boolean switch_1 datapoint instead of the unrelated door_control_1 enum.
  • Add independent per-device options for command inversion, contact-state
inversion, contact-state trust, and the stateless door trigger button.
  • Add a stateless garage-door trigger that remains safe to use when the physical
    contact is stuck or unreliable.
  • Stop applying optimistic command values: Tuya push or REST must now confirm a
state before Home Assistant displays it.
  • Keep every raw function exposed, including switch_1, door_control_1, and
    physically unsupported close commands.
  • Move Paho MQTT certificate loading off Home Assistant's event loop.
  • Log the normal interval between MQTT connection and subscription
acknowledgement at debug level instead of warning.
  • Document garage-door quirks and the recommended configuration workflow.
