First independent acme-http-connector package.

  • acme-http-connector 0.1.0 provides HTTP-01 challenge publication, cleanup and certificate deployment without depending on Certbot.
  • certbot-httpreq 0.0.21 becomes a thin adapter and installs the core automatically. Existing plugin names, command-line options, YAML configuration and environment variables are retained.
  • Python 3.10+; Certbot 2.11–5.x.
  • 32 regression tests pass with both tested Certbot versions; the core is also tested without Certbot installed.

Install the core with pip install acme-http-connector, or upgrade the Certbot adapter with pip install --upgrade certbot-httpreq.

The core is an HTTP API connector, not an ACME protocol client. Additional ACME client adapters remain planned. No live certificate issuance was performed during release validation.
