This corrective release hardens HTTP transport for challenge publication, cleanup and certificate deployment.

  • Refuse all HTTP 3xx responses instead of following redirects or implicitly replaying mutations. Configure the final API URL directly.
  • Close responses on both successful and failed requests.
  • Update the Certbot adapter dependency to the corrected standalone core.

Packages: acme-http-connector==0.2.1 and certbot-httpreq==0.0.24. The repository tag follows the adapter version.

Validation: 52 unittest tests; Python 3.10/3.12 and Certbot 2.11/5.x CI; standalone core checks; real Pebble issuance, renewal and deployment with Certbot and Dehydrated, including invalid HTTP-01 rejection. HTML documentation is rebuilt with warnings treated as errors.
