Stater V0.5.3
- Fixed the issue where the constructor wasn't working.
- Added some experimental type-checking.
Stater V0.5.2
- You can now provide an instance as the States parameter in the .new constructor. Stater will also register states inside multiple tables, which allows you to have a module script for each state if that's more of your liking
Stater V0.5.1
- Fixed the Start, Init and End tag not returning the right thing (3rd parameter of the .new constructor).
Stater V0.5.0
- 3rd parameter of the .new constructor has been replaced with a "return" instead. If a return is provided, the first parameter of every state will be the return provided. The default is the stater object itself, just like usual.
- Re-arranged some type-checking inside the module.
Stater 3.0
New Functions:
- Stater:AddState(Name, State)
- Stater:RemoveState(Name)
- tostring metamethod
- eq metamethod
New Events:
- Stater.StateAdded
- Stater.StateRemoved
New Features
Added the ability to add "End" and "Start" States to the states table. This means that if there is a state Named "Hi"
and another State Named "HiStart", HiStart will play when the state switches to hi. "HiEnd" will play when the States switches from "Hi"
Stater V0.4
- Added the ability to add an "End" State. The "End" State will play every time the Stater stops.
- Stopping the Stater will now play the Current State's End function.
Stater 0.2.1
Fixed some bugs and made self.State have a string instead.
Stater 0.2.0
- New event, StatusChanged, fires whenever the Stater starts or stops, returns a boolean.
- New function, :GetCurrentState(), returns the current State as a string.
- New property, StateConfirmation, when enabled, all states must return a boolean indicating if it has failed or everything worked properly.
- Changed event now returns the Current State as a string and the previous state as a string.
