XD2Joy-v1.3
More flexibility with device's and pairing !
Firmware Update
- Mouse on either board. A mouse can also now pair to the left Joy-Con and still work, before I focused only on the right side as the mouse mode but I wanted it to be more even in configuration so now its more flexible with the gyro, thumbstick, mouse all work now on both left and right Joy-Con pairs.
- New Split device function. I didn't want to make it so you needed 2 bluetooth devices to connect to the console, the new split function fakes the other Joy-Con connection on the console so you can use a single bluetooth device to control both left and right Joy-Cons with that single device (this does not change the fact 2 nRF52840 chips are still needed for talking to the console for each Joy-Con.)
Web-tool update
The Web-Tool
- Needs v1.3 firmware. A board still on v1.2 needs to update.
- Gyro sensitivity. Set how fast gyro mode should turn in the Web-Tool.
- new Settings for: Split device connection, 4 directions in Right Stick Config, Gyro sensitivity, and you can use the mouse to map the "unpair from console." section.
- Stacked input mapping improved visually by indenting the "+" and some other fixes.
- Bluetooth devices: Improved it swapping and selecting.
- Faster: optimized the loading a little.
for v1.2
- Mappings and profiles saved with v1.2 are carried over and should keep working.
XD2Joy-v1.2
Firmware update
- Gyro mode. The right board can now send motion data and how fast the mouse moves is how fast you move in game with gyro. The motion data is sent the way a real Joy-Con 2 sends it and is configurable in the Web-Tool
Web-Tool update
- Ctrl + G toggles gyro mode You can set your own shortcut in the Modes section of the Web-Tool.
Bugs: Y axis MIGHT be limited in range but i think it was just gyro itself capping in the game I was testing in, other issues can contain things like random inputs being sent to the console when toggling gyro mode. I will try to be improve it if issues are reported.
XD2Joy-v1.1
Fixes
- Fewer drops. right after connecting a boards request for a faster connection is now sent 2 seconds after the device is ready and only when the connection isnt fast already. Some keyboards dropped the link when it came too early.
- Keys keep working when a device secures its connection a second time.
- battery actually resets when a device disconnects instead of showing the last device battery level.
- Faster reconnecting. A board waiting for its keyboard or mouse to come back now searches for it faster.
- Stays with devices better. When 2 keyboards or mice of the same model are nearby the firmware gives its own a few seconds to come back before it tries the other.
Web-Tool update
- The web tool now shows a pairing code for when a keyboard asks for one.
