Twig 1.8.4
Native libraries are now laid out for 16 KB memory pages, which Android 15 and later require: on such a device the loader refuses a 4 KB library outright rather than running it slower, so the terminal would have crashed. Termux's terminal JNI is compiled from source for the same reason, since every published build of it is still 4 KB. The libraries also no longer carry a build id that depends on where they were compiled, so a build of a given release is reproducible from its source.
Which build to download
Twig-1.8.4-libre.apk is free software throughout, and is what F-Droid builds. Twig-1.8.4-full.apk adds read-only RAR support through junrar, which is under the UnRAR licence and is not free software — see LICENSE-EXCEPTIONS.md. Everything else is identical; the flavours differ in RAR alone.
Both carry arm64-v8a and x86_64, and both are signed with the same key, so you can install one over the other without uninstalling.

Check it yourself with apksigner verify --print-certs. Builds published before 2026-08-25 used the Android debug key and will not upgrade over these — uninstall first if you have one of those.
