v1.0.3 Release
FL Studio Discord RPC v1.0.3
Release built for Linux x86-64
Installation
-
Download
FLStudioRPC-linux-x64-v1.0.3.tar.gz -
Extract the archive
-
Open the extracted
FLStudioRPC-linux-x64folder -
Run:
sudo ./setup.sh
-
You can then launch FL Studio Discord RPC from your application menu
Start with Linux
The Start with Linux option uses the standard Linux XDG Autostart system
For autostart to work, your desktop environment or session must support and process XDG autostart entries
This normally works automatically on desktop environments such as:
- GNOME
- Cinnamon
- KDE Plasma
- XFCE
- MATE
- LXQt
If you're using a standalone window manager or Wayland compositor, XDG autostart may not be enabled by default.
For example, Hyprland users should run Hyprland through UWSM or another session manager that handles XDG autostart.
The autostart entry is stored under:
$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/autostart/
or, when XDG_CONFIG_HOME is not set:
~/.config/autostart/
Uninstallation
Open the extracted folder from the same archive and run:
sudo ./uninstall.shWhat's changed
- Fixed the Start with Linux option.
- Autostart now respects
XDG_CONFIG_HOME. - Autostart now uses the installed
/optexecutable instead of a development-folder path. - Fixed the tray icon depending on files from the source repository.
- Tray icons now use the system-installed icon.
- FL Studio detection now checks the actual Linux process instead of relying only on window titles or
xwininfo. - Improved detection across Cinnamon/X11, Wayland/XWayland, and systems without
x11-utilsinstalled. - Discord RPC now automatically retries after connection failures, disconnections, and presence-update errors.
- Improved compatibility with Linux desktops, panels, and system trays.
NEW: Flatpak support is coming soon in the next major update!
