Artifact themes and visual exploration

Visualize can now apply a reference design system to one artifact, or compare visual treatments before you choose.

  • Apply a named theme directly. Use a reference such as Editorial for a report without first running an exploration. The agent applies design guidance and tokens together, including typography, spacing, surfaces, and component treatment.
  • Explore structure, visual treatment, or both. Compare palette, typography, and other visual choices on a fixed layout, or compare different document structures. New artifacts do not need an existing layout or captured project profile.
  • Keep project defaults and explicit exceptions separate. Project styling stays binding unless you authorize an artifact-specific override. Applying or selecting an artifact theme does not change project design files.
  • Navigate every reference package. All 103 design systems now include a README with preview links, design guidance, tokens, and a theme usage example.

Scope

This release adds no new command, saved theme object, or token format. Project-wide capture and derivation remain in teach; explore system remains planned. The broader shared color-guidance revision is not part of this release.
