v0.5.1 – Contextual color guidance
Color guidance that respects the brief
Visualize now explains color choices through character, semantic roles, hue relationships, and distribution. Refinement preserves approved palettes and meaningful chart categories instead of applying fixed hue counts or mandatory neutral tints.
- Allow red identities, achromatic surfaces, multiple accents, and context-appropriate hue combinations without blanket style refusals.
- Compare changes such as lower chroma versus less color coverage while keeping settled choices fixed.
- Remove palette and detector taste vetoes for purple/cyan combinations, atmospheric gradients, and warm-paper surfaces. Contrast, gamut, theme, and non-color meaning checks remain.
- Align Simplify, Polish, Review, typography, and chart guidance with the shared color procedure.
- Correct the documented palette-check argument order and include source attribution and licenses for adapted guidance.
Artifact themes and Artifact Explore from v0.5.0 remain available. System Explore remains planned and is not part of this release.
Validated with six fresh-agent artifact trials, palette regressions, fixture checks, and independent review.
