Six UARTs over one USB connection.
PicoUart runs on Raspberry Pi Pico and Pico 2 boards. It exposes six USB CDC serial ports and a separate HID interface for bridge health and diagnostics. UART payloads travel over CDC; HID is for status and limited controls.
- Choose the firmware for your board:
picoorpico2releases. - Flash the
.uf2using BOOTSEL and the USB drive: flashing instructions. - Connect UART devices using the pin map and wiring rules.

| .NET | CLI and local dashboard |
| WebHID | Browser dashboard in desktop Chrome or Edge |
Host tools report bridge diagnostics; they do not capture UART payloads or replace your serial terminal or test runner.
- Pico W and Pico 2 W require board-specific builds. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are not enabled.
- PicoUART6 carrier has matching default UART TX/RX pins. Carrier LEDs and USB-to-I2C are not supported; keep RTS/CTS disabled.
- Use 3.3 V UART logic and share ground. PIO UART ports support 8N1 only.
Successful builds do not qualify physical behavior. See the HIL test plan and recorded results below.
