v0.4.0

Choose a tag to compare

@dnsdoctor-ops dnsdoctor-ops released this 06 Oct 20:27

Adds lookalikes <domain> (which close look-alike names resolve or accept mail) and lookalike-watch <domain> (the watched lookalikes for a monitored domain; needs DNSDOCTOR_API_TOKEN). Every DNS Doctor tool now has a command. Ownership help text describes the one DNS record that sets a domain up.

@dnsdoctor-ops dnsdoctor-ops released this 16 Sep 14:17

dns-doctor CLI 0.3.0 — a command for every one of the 20 hosted tools: whois (registration lookup), plus add-domain, verify-domain and domain-records for a linked account token.

v0.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@dnsdoctor-ops dnsdoctor-ops released this 06 Sep 15:20

Fixes 0.2.0, which exited without output when run through npx: the entry-point check now compares real paths, so the node_modules/.bin symlink is recognised. No other changes.

v0.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@dnsdoctor-ops dnsdoctor-ops released this 06 Sep 13:49

Every DNS Doctor tool as a command: scan, dmarc-upgrade, parked, signup-url, dmarc-validate, dmarc-generate, spf-count, spf-audit, dkim, report-parse, record, propagation, reverse-dns, and the token-required alerts and readiness reads. Zero runtime dependencies, --json for scripts and agents, exit 0/1/2 with every transient reported as 2, never as a verdict. Fix records are printed verbatim from the API's deterministic engine.

@dnsdoctor-ops dnsdoctor-ops released this 06 Sep 13:29

First release of the dns-doctor CLI: scan, propagation, dmarc-upgrade, reverse-dns and spf-audit over the public DNS Doctor API. Zero runtime dependencies, --json for scripts and agents, exit 0/1/2 with every transient reported as 2, never as a verdict. Fix records are printed verbatim from the API's deterministic engine.
