First release of Rattlegram Plus Plus, an independent fork of Rattlegram Plus by BI3BJU, based on Rattlegram by aicodix.

It installs alongside Rattlegram Plus (its own app ID) and uses the same over-the-air format.

What's new

  • 📻 Bluetooth audio for BTech UV-Pro (and Vero VR-N76): send and receive with no cable or DigiRig
  • 🔇 Mutes the radio's speaker while connected and restores it afterwards
  • 🪖 SALUTE report form: GPS as Lat/Long, Maidenhead or MGRS; UTC or local time; live byte counter
  • 🔑 Share the encryption password by QR code (show / scan / paste)
  • ☑️ Encrypt checkbox remembers its setting
  • 🗑️ Optional "Delete Messages on Close"
  • 🧩 Fixed overlapping buttons in the password dialog

Install

Download RattlegramPlusPlus.apk below and open it. Android will ask you to allow installing apps from your browser or file manager. Requires Android 7.0+.

If you installed the earlier v0.1-test build, uninstall it first. It used Rattlegram Plus's app ID.

Tested on Samsung Galaxy A15 phones with a BTech UV-Pro (firmware 0.9.3). Transmit only where you're licensed to; many amateur radio rules don't allow encrypted messages.
