FluentAssertions becoming commercial with v8.0 #111495
|
Since dotnet runtime (and other repos) also use FluentAsserations: FluentAssertions just announced that starting with v8.0, they are using a paid license for commercial application: Is the dotnet team affected / planning on pinning at FluentAssertions v7.0 or you guys gonna move to a different test helper library? Am looking for ideas how large-scale open source organizations are going to deal with this. ~Michael |

Thanks for the report. We had seen posts about the license change and are deciding how to proceed. For now, we're going to stay on the v7 version or earlier. We likely won't make a quick decision. |
