Make your topic with Carl.
Sign up with no topic yet and the chat opens on its own: "Let's make your first topic. You know the
one." Talk with Carl what you want to keep up with and you build the topic together in your words,
suggests sources, asks who should read along, takes a file, reads the draft back, and one yes creates
the topic with its first brew already running. The draft fills in beside the chat as you go. Later it
is one menu option away: "Give Carl a topic. You know the one."
Build your topic together with Carl directly in Coffee Talk. Ask him to tighten the prompt or add a
subreddit and he proposes the exact change, waits for your yes, then saves it and says so in a toast.
A team's chat room gets the same, for the members who may edit. Every prompt save keeps a version,
and nothing brews until the next scheduled pass.
Carl can talk with your AI now. Every topic page and every app page has "Add to AI" in its header
menu. Pick Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Cursor, or VS Code, or copy the server URL, and your AI can list your
topics, read a feed with Carl's reasons for keeping each finding, search a topic by meaning, mark
things read, rate, bookmark, and change a topic's prompt and sources. A public topic works without an
account. Connect one and the rest opens up, with a plain "Let Claude read as you?" before anything is
shared.
