📱 Two-Factor Authentication Suite (2FA)

SmartLogin features the most complete 2FA suite available in Minecraft, offering 4 independent authentication channels to secure staff and player accounts.

1. 🗺️ Google Authenticator & TOTP (In-Game QR Maps)

Players do not need to type long secret keys:

1. The player runs: /2fa setup
2. SmartLogin creates a custom in-game map in their hand with a live-rendered QR code.
3. The player opens their authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, or 1Password) and scans the map.
4. The player confirms by typing: /2fa verify <6_digit_code>.
5. The player receives emergency backup recovery codes in chat and 2FA is activated.

2. 🤖 Discord Bot (DMs & 1-Click Login Approval)

Link Minecraft accounts with Discord:

1. In Minecraft: The player runs /link and gets a 6-digit code (e.g. 482910).
2. In Discord: The player runs /link 482910 or simply sends 482910 in a Direct Message (DM) to the bot.
3. The bot automatically assigns the verified role in your Discord server.
4. When logging in from a new IP, the bot sends an interactive direct message: [Approve Login] or [Block Intruder].

3. ✈️ Telegram Bot (Instant OTP Verification)

Ideal for staff and administrators:

1. The player runs /tlink and receives a direct bot link.
2. They start the Telegram bot and their account is linked.
3. They receive instant OTP codes upon login or when recovering access with /recover telegram.

4. 📧 Email Authentication (SMTP OTP)

Allows traditional email verification and password reset:

1. The player adds their email with /email add user@domain.com.
2. They receive a 6-digit verification code in their inbox.
3. They verify with /email verify <code>.
