What's New

  • Agent self-update — Agent can now check GitHub Releases for new versions, download the correct binary for your platform, verify SHA256 checksum, and replace itself. Systemd auto-restarts with the new version.

New API Endpoints

Method Path Description
GET /api/v1/agent/update Check if a newer version is available
POST /api/v1/agent/update Download, verify, and apply the update

Deployment Note

For self-update to work, ensure the binary is owned by the service user:

sudo chown erepublik:docker /usr/local/bin/hola-agent
