Under Settings → Data → Export you can download your whole library as one CSV file – your own; other accounts on the same installation are not part of it – as a backup you can read, or to move to another tool.
The file has the format of Yamtrack's own export. It can be imported into Yamtrack (Settings → Import → Yamtrack CSV) and into hdtracker again (see Import from Yamtrack).
Available from version 0.5.0.
| Area | Rows |
|---|---|
| Movies | one per movie, with its status |
| Series | one for the series, one per season with watched episodes, one per watched episode with the date you ticked it |
| Anime | one per anime, with status and the number of watched episodes |
| Games | one per game, with its status |
Every title also carries its name, the address of its poster, when you added it and when you last changed its status. Titles of hidden areas are included.
- Scores, notes and play time – hdtracker does not track them, so these columns stay empty.
- Anime without an entry at MyAnimeList. Yamtrack only knows anime by their MyAnimeList ID. hdtracker stores that ID for every anime that has one; the rare anime without it are left out, and the export page tells you how many.
- Posters, descriptions and release dates themselves – only IDs and statuses matter; every tool loads the rest again.
- The export only reads your own database. Nothing is asked from TMDB, IGDB, AniList or anyone else.
- A season counts as Completed when every aired episode is ticked; otherwise it gets the status of the series.
- After importing into Yamtrack, a few values look different because Yamtrack works them out itself: the date a title was added becomes the day of the import, and the progress of a movie or season is recalculated. All titles, statuses and watched episodes arrive as exported.
- For a complete, restorable copy of hdtracker itself (including all accounts and settings) use a backup – the export is about your library only.
