Coming from Yamtrack? Export your library there as CSV and upload it under Settings → Data.
The other direction works as well: see Export.
- Movies, series, anime and games with their status and dates.
- Series keep every watched episode, anime their progress. Yamtrack stores anime with MyAnimeList IDs; they are matched to AniList automatically.
- Titles already in your library are left unchanged, so importing twice is safe.
- Entries created by hand in Yamtrack: they have no database ID, so hdtracker cannot look them up. They are listed after the import – add them again with the search.
- Media types hdtracker does not have (books, manga, comics, board games).
- If the file contains titles of areas you have hidden, you are asked first whether to skip them, import them anyway or show the area again.
The Yamtrack export contains no release dates, posters or descriptions. hdtracker loads them in the background right after the import.
- The page shows how many titles are left. Until then a title shows “…” instead of its year.
- You can keep using the app meanwhile.
- Loading continues even if the container restarts in between.
