• deepagents: follow DEEPAGENTS_HOME as the global profile root by @dyoshikawa in #2996
  • generate --global, import --global, and convert --global now write and read deepagents-cli's files under $DEEPAGENTS_HOME when it is set, the same way HERMES_HOME and KIMI_CODE_HOME are honored. The override is the profile root itself, so the .deepagents segment is dropped: $DEEPAGENTS_HOME/agent/AGENTS.md, agent/skills/, agent/agents/, .mcp.json, hooks.json, config.toml.
  • Only the spellings dcode itself accepts are honored (an absolute path, or one beginning with ~/); a relative value, a bare ~, a ~user form, or the home directory itself is rejected with an error naming the variable.
  • The .rulesync/ sources written by import --global stay under the user's home, not the profile root.

Bug Fixes

• sources: refetch when the skill selection widens past the lockfile by @dyoshikawa in #2994
  • rulesync fetch with a wider --skills selection than the one recorded in the lockfile now refetches instead of reusing the narrower cached entry. The selection is recorded on install, and legacy lock entries without a recorded selection are refetched once so they gain one. An entry that locks no skills no longer covers a skill selection.
