The main asset of the mobile app is to offer a self-assessment mechanism (triage) to find out if the user is a potential carrier of the disease. This mechanism is made up of a pre-established question and answer questionnaire, where the questions are focused on the following aspects:

  • User symptoms.
  • It presents risk factors.
  • They have lived with other people already infected.
  • They have visited high-risk areas.

The objective of this questionnaire is to detect and communicate potential positive cases to the organization.

As you can see, triage is made up of a set of questions and answers. In particular, there are 4 distinct parts in the questionnaire:

  • In the third question some of the risk factors are formulated that may contribute to further development of the disease. The user may select as many responses as indicated by their condition.

  • Questions 4, 5 and 6 belong to the symptom picture that the virus can present in a person. They are some of the main or most characteristic symptoms that a person may experience when they have contracted the disease. For each of these questions, the user can only select the value "Yes" or the value "No".

  • Finally, in question 7 some of the secondary symptoms that an infected person may suffer are exposed. The user will be able to select to mark all those values that correspond to the symptoms that he suffers during the completion of the triage.

Through triage, the mobile app will determine if the user can be considered as a potential carrier of the disease. If the result of the self-evaluation mechanism is positive, the user may send the questionnaire to the healthcare organization by means of a specific form with some basic identification data.

The data that appears in the user data submission form are as follows:

  • Name and surname.
  • DNI.
  • Phone.
  • Email:
  • Age.
  • Home address.
