Agent Interface 0.1.1 fixes installation naming and Linux desktop behavior.
- The command, archives and current package names use
agent-interface. - Linux windows gain minimize, maximize/restore and close controls on the right, plus resize edges and caption double-click. macOS keeps its native controls.
- Linux terminals use DejaVu Sans Mono to avoid the proportional font fallback that caused widely spaced characters.
- Updates preserve existing libraries and settings and retire the earlier installer-owned launchers. The installer remains compatible with earlier release archives during the naming transition.
- Existing ordinary terminals reconnect to the server that owns their saved session when current and legacy socket locations coexist. Failed discovery preserves the saved working directory and does not start a duplicate shell on another server.
Quit the app, then run this in your Linux/WSL or macOS shell:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eandualem/agent-interface/main/install.sh | shThis downloads a compiled app and verifies its checksum; no Rust, Zig or Python build tools are needed. See the installation guide for runtime prerequisites. On Linux/WSL, launch with "$HOME/.local/bin/agent-interface". On macOS, open ~/Applications/Agent Interface.app.
The Linux graphical regression fixture passed on Ubuntu 24.04 with an X11 window manager and software Mesa, covering launch, terminal output, maximize/restore, caption double-click, resizing, minimizing and closing. Windows 11 uses the Linux app through WSL 2/WSLg; acceptance of this updated build on Ubuntu 26.04/WSLg remains pending. There is no native Windows executable.
Archives cover Apple silicon and Intel macOS, and ARM64 and x86-64 glibc Linux. Each includes build metadata and dependency notices. The macOS app is ad-hoc signed and is not notarized. Rich HTML report rendering currently requires macOS.
